Shark NV352 Review: How Does Compare To The Newer NV360?

Shark Navigator is a popular upright series and regularly retains a place in most lists of the best vacuums. The most common name in this series is the Shark NV360 vacuum, but there are plenty of other versions, like the NV352, that you may find easier to buy. If the NV360 is out of the question for you, this Unbelievable Suction Power - Shark NV360 Review will help you decide whether to get the NV352 instead.

  • A Quick Review of Shark NV352

The No Loss of Suction technology received a warm welcome from customers when it was introduced into the Navigator series. Despite its complex marketing term, this is cyclonic suction technology - a more familiar name that you may have heard on other high-end vacuums.

It makes the air spin at high speed to get debris out of the airflow. This technology keeps the filters clean for a longer period of time while making sure there isn't much obstruction in the airflow. The suction will retain a stable strength as a result. This is different from bagged models, which may see a huge drop in suction when the debris and dirt start to fill the bag and limit both airflow and suction power.

Despite being an affordable upright vacuum cleaner, the NV352 comes with a sealed filtration system coupled with a HEPA filter. This was among the first inexpensive models that were equipped with such a premium feature. In the past, we could usually only expect this filtration system in high-end machines like Miele canisters.

This sealed system is a godsend for people who have asthma or allergic conditions. It makes sure the air entering the vacuum is passed entirely through the filers, so there is no unfiltered air coming out of the NV352. The design generates much higher quality exhaust air. The HEPA filter also removes from the air more than 99.9% particles of 0.3 microns or bigger in diameter, including dust mites, dust, pet dander, and pollen.

Like the Shark navigator lift away deluxe NV360, the Lift-Away feature in the NV352 works flawlessly, even though it's one of the first uprights to adopt this design. You can detach the canister and the handle to carry them around, transforming the vacuum into a more portable unit for cleaning places such as under furniture, ceilings, and stairs.

You can also turn on or turn off the brushbar when needed. That's one of the reasons the NV352 works well on both bare floors and carpeted stairs. The cleaning path is 11 inches wide. It's a little narrow but also makes it easier for you to maneuver around furniture.

The power cord length is just 25 feet, shorter than most of us may expect. It's enough if you have enough power outlets in your house but may become annoying if you want to vacuum a big room.

Conclusion

In most aspects, the NV352 has a similar design as the Shark NV360. All the features that have made a name for the Navigator upright series are included, such as the Lift-Away feature, the ability to turn off the brushroll, or the sealed filtration system. If you are unable to find the NV360 and the NV352 is available at a cheaper price, it's a decent alternative to consider.
